    Turkey Rice Casserole

    List of Ingredients




    1 C cubed, leftover turkey
    1 C cubed, leftover ham
    1 stalk celery, sliced crosswise
    1/2 C onion, diced
    7 oz straw mushrooms
    1 tsp chervil
    1 tsp thyme
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 C turkey stock
    1 C raw brown rice

    Recipe



    In a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, add the rice. If using canned mushrooms place in one layer over the rice. Add the turkey and ham cubes in a layer.
    Saute the onion and celery. add stock, and spices. layer over mushrooms and pour the saute pan ingredients over . Seal with aluminum foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Check rice. Add more liquid if rice not tender and cook 15 minutes.
