    List of Ingredients


    • 1/3 C oil
    • 2 medium onions, sliced
    • 1/2 pound sliced mushrooms
    • 1 C sliced celery
    • 2 C shredded green cabbage
    • 1 1/2 C bean sprouts
    • 1/2 C sliced bamboo shoots
    • 1 C thinly sliced pork, (or other meat)
    • 1/4 C cornstarch
    • 1/2 C soy sauce
    • 2 C water
    • pepper to taste


    Instructions


    1. Parboil 1/2 pound of noodles for 6-8 minutes. Drain, rinse and set aside.

    2. Heat the oil in a fry pan. Add pork and stir fry on high for 2 minutes. Lower heat to moderate for 2 minutes. Remove pork and set aside.

    3. Saute vegetables until just tender about 2 minutes. Combine cornstarch, soy sauce and water. Add pork to vegetables and turn up heat. Add the sauce and cook until thickend for 1 minute.

    4. Divide the pork and vegetables into 2 servings and add the reheated noodles on top.
