    1 recipe "pastry to make danishes"
    1 recipe remonce
    almond sugar, (sugar with finely chopped almonds)

    Roll a piece of dough out 8 inches wide and 3/8 inch thick, being rolled a little thinner at the edges. Spread remonce in the center 1/3. Fold the outer edges up and over so as to end with three layers of dough. Brush with a little water and dip in almond sugar. Cut dough at a slant so you have almost pie shaped pieces, but not pointed at the ends. Place on baking sheets, folded side down. Let raise but do not cover with a damp towel or the sugar will melt. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes.
