Serves 8-large
List of Ingredients
1 egg
1/2 C dark molasses
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 C boiling water
1 tsp vanilla
3 T sugar
1 T butter
pinch salt
1 1/2 C flourRecipe
mix as given. Place in a pan and cover with a cloth to absorb excess moisture.
Place in steamer and steam one hour.
Sauce for top;
beat yolks of 2 eggs and 1 C powdered sugar. Whip one pint of cream. Combine thoroughly. Serve over hot pudding.
