    Cheese and Broccoli Pasta

    Recipe Introduction


    You can use any pasta you please. I used spaghetti because that's what I had on hand.

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 pound bacon, cut up
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    4 thin slices of a medium onion, chopped
    1 1/2 C grated Holland Parrano cheese
    8 oz frozen, chopped broccoli
    2 T flour
    1 T butter
    1 C milk
    salt
    pepper
    Enough spaghetti noodles to generously serve two people.

    Fry the bacon and drain. Saute the garlic and onion in the butter. When the onion is transparent, add the flour and stir with a wire whisk until the flour is bubbly. Whisk in the milk and stir until the sauce begins to thicken. Add the reserved bacon, the cheese,and broccoli. Season to taste. Cook until thickened.
    When the pasta is ready, drain it and place a portion on each of 2 plates. Pour half the sauce on the pasta on each plate. Serve hot.

    Var; Add chopped parsley if desired, or a little chopped tomato.
