    1/2 lb. butter
    1 lb. powdered sugar sifted
    2 egg yolks
    1/2 cup wine
    1 pint cream
    2 tbls. sugar
    2 tbls. wine

    Recipe



    Cream, then whip until creamy. Add one at a time the
    2 egg yolks. Fold in 1/2 cup wine. Fill layers of cake with filling, sprinkle with chopped almonds and macaroon crumbs.
    Whip 1 pint cream, add 2 tbls. sugar, 2 tbls. wine and coat outside of cake with this mixture. Sprinkle with chopped almonds.
