    List of Ingredients




    4 T Swans Down Cake flour
    3/4 C sugar
    dash salt
    1/4 C lemon juice
    1/2 C water
    1 egg, well beaten
    2 T butter
    1/2 tsp grated lemon rind

    Recipe



    Combine flour, sugar, and salt in top of double boiler, add lemon juice, water and egg.
    Place over rapidly boiling water, cook ten minutes, or until thickened, stirring constantly. Add butter and lemon rind.
