    KURKKUSALAATTI (cucumber salad)

    List of Ingredients

    4 medium cucumbers
    1/2 C sugar
    1 T salt
    1/2 tsp white pepper
    1/2 C white wine vinegar
    2 T dried dill weed

    Recipe

    Thinly slice cucmbers. Place in a bowl with a tight fitting lid.
    Mix sugar, salt and pepper. Sprinkle over cucumbers. Cover and shake to coat.
    Pour vinegar over. Cover. chill 24 hours.
    Just before serving, sprinkle with dill and toss.
    Serves 6
