    Serves 6

    List of Ingredients




    1 pint clams
    1 clove garlic
    2 T chopped onion
    1/2 C chopped celery
    1/4 C butter, melted+ 2 T
    1 T flour
    3/4 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1/4 tsp thyme
    3 drops Tabasco
    1 T chili sauce
    1 egg beaten
    1/2 C cracker meal
    2 T chopped parsley
    1/2 C dry bread crumbs

    Recipe



    Saute garlic, onion, and celery. Blend in flour and seasonings, Cook, stirring constantly, until thick, Invert into eggs and back into sauce. Add cracker crumbs and parsley. Chop clams and drain in colander. Combine butter and bread crumbs. Sprinkle over combined sauce and clams in 6 greased shells or casseroles. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 10 minutes.
