List of Ingredients
INCLUDES DOUBLED RECIPE ( )
1 1/2 cups sugar (3)
7 Tablespoons water (14) (15 = 2/3 cup
1 1/2 Tablespoons. White Karo syrup (3)
2 unbeaten egg whites (4)
1/3 teaspoon Cream of Tarter (2/3)
A few grains of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla or 1 capful (?) Just 1
Recipe
Combine sugar, water, and syrup in pan. Bring to a boil. Boil until makes a thread.
Have egg whites, salt, cream of tarter ready in mixing bowl. Mix on low then on high until starts to make peaks. Slowly pour sugar water into mixing bowl beating on high.
Mix until it forms stiff peaks. It will lose its gloss.
