    Recipe Introduction


    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

    List of Ingredients




    1 pheasant
    1 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp pepper
    1/2 C flour
    2 T butter
    1 C hot water

    Recipe



    Dress, clean and cut bird into nine pieces.
    Season with salt and pepper. Dip in flour. Place in a greased roaster. Dot with butter. Brown in a 375 degree oven for 30 minutes.
    Add 1 cup hot water, cover and reduce heat to 325 degrees F. Bake for 1 1/2 hours, or until tender.
