    List of Ingredients


    • one and one half cups brown sugar
    • two tablespoon water
    • one quarter cup butter
    • one teaspoon cinnamon
    • one cup of flour
    • one cup ground almonds


    Instructions


    1. Mix water and sugar to make a thick paste. Add butter, cinnamon, almonds and flour.

    2. Shape into one inch diameter rounds. Place two inches apart on greased cookie sheet.

    3. Bake at three hundred and twent five degrees F for fifteen minutes.

    4. Remove from oven and let stand for one half minute. Lift from bake sheet with a spatula.

    5. If wafers become hard to remove, return to oven for a minute.
