similar to gingerbread.-- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.


List of Ingredients




2 C buckwheat flour
2 C white sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp nutmeg
3 tsp baking soda
2 tsp instant coffee powder
1 C raisins
1 C oil
2 tsp egg substitute + 4 T water
2 eggs
2 C applesauce

Recipe



Mix dry ingredients together. Beat eggs and add with wet ingredients to dry mixture. Blend well.Pour into a greased and buckwheat floured 9x13 baking pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30-45 minutes. (test with a toothpick).
Sprinkle with powdered sugar, or frost as desired. (cream cheese frosting).
