    Wild Rice Stir Fry

    Recipe Introduction


    Makes 3 cups.

    List of Ingredients




    1/2 C chopped bacon
    1/3 C of each;
    chopped green pepper
    red pepper
    celery
    onions
    mushrooms
    1/2 tsp dill weed, or a few sprigs fresh dill
    2 T olive oil
    1 T lemon juice
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste

    Recipe



    In large fry pan, brown the chopped bacon very well. Add chopped veggies and olive oil. Saute until just tender. Fold in the rice.
    Simmer at low heat about 15 minutes, stirring once or twice. Turn off heat and cover. Just before serving, re-heat and serve piping hot, careful not to overcook.
