    Sherbet, Pineapple Milk

    Evaporated Milk Assoc. Chicago, Ill.-1928

    Recipe Introduction

    yield 1 1/2 qts.

    List of Ingredients

    1 1/2 C evaporated milk
    1 C sugar
    few grains salt
    1 C water
    2 T lemon juice
    1 no. 2 can crushed pineapple (2 1/4 C)

    Recipe

    Pour chilled evaporated milk into ice cream can. Add sugar, salt, water and lemon juice to pineapple. Stir thoroughly and chill. Then add pineapple to the milk. freeze.
