    List of Ingredients




    2 C milk
    1/2 C farina
    1 tsp salt
    3 T butter
    1 C grated soft cheese
    2 eggs
    grated Parmesan cheese

    Recipe



    Scald milk. Gradually add the farina and cook until thickened. Add salt and butter and cook for twenty minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add soft cheese and stir until free from lumps.
    Separate the eggs. Beat the yolks until thick and lemon colored, and add to the farina mixture.
    Whip the whites until stiff. Fold into the farina mixture. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan that has been rinsed with cold water. Chill and cut into rounds, squares or fancy shapes. Transfer to a shallow, buttered pan and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese. Bake in a 375 degree F. oven for fifteen minutes, or until browned all over. Serve with desired sauce.
