    Fettuccini with mushrooms

    List of Ingredients




    3/4 pound sliced mushrooms
    1 cube butter, divided
    1/4-1/2 tsp salt
    dash pepper
    3 T chopped parsley
    3-4 T grated Parmesan cheese

    Recipe



    Saute mushrooms, stems and all,in 4 tablespoons butter, for about 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper. Sprinkle with the parsley and cook 2-3 minutes. Remove pan from heat and keep warm.
    Cook the pasta using 1 quart water per serving of pasta. Drain and place on serving platter. Dot with the remaining 4 tablespoons butter. toss lightly. Pour the mushrooms and their sauce over the pasta.
    Toss again and serve with Parmesan cheese on the side.
