    List of Ingredients




    1 package of yeast
    1 1/4 C warm water
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 1/2 c flour

    Recipe



    Dissolve the yeast in the water. Add the salt and slowly sprinkle in the flour, beating with a whisk until flour is absorbed and batter is smooth.
    Let rise in a warm place for 1 hour, until doubled and full of bubbles.
    Stir down and use immediately.
    Use as a batter for frying meats and vegetables.
