    List of Ingredients


    • 1 T olive oil
    • 2 C minced onion
    • 2 T minced fresh ginger
    • 2 tsp fennel seed
    • 2 T minced garlic
    • 1/2 tsp allspice
    • 1 tsp dried thyme
    • 2 tsp salt
    • 2 T yellow mustard
    • 1/4 C ketchup
    • 1 tsp minced jajapeno pepper
    • 1 C water
    • 2 tsp almond extract
    • 2 T brown sugar
    • 4-14oz cans Roman beans, drained


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Heat oil in a heavy bottomed fry pan. Add onion, fennel seed and minced ginger. Saute over strong heat for 5 minutes, then lower heat. Add garlic, allspice and thyme. Cook 2-3 minutes
    2. Stir in mustard, ketchup, jalapeno, almond ext. and water. cook 5 minutes.
    3. Pour beans in a 9x13 inch baking dish. Pour in sauce, cover with foil and bake 45 minutes.
    4. Cool 20 minutes before serving
