    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 C miso
    • 6 T water
    • 1/4 C mirin rice wine or sherry
    • 1 T toasted sesame seeds
    • 1 tsp ground black pepper


    Instructions


    1. On low heat, cook the miso, water and mirin, stirring occasionally, until it forms a thick paste, about 4 minutes.
    2. Marinate 4-6 fish steaks for 15 minutes, turn steaks over. Cover and chill 6 hours, turning once or twice.
    3. Drain fish and broil or barbeque. season with pepper and garnish with sesame seed.
