    1/2 C butter
    1/2 C sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1/2 C whipping cream
    1/2 tsp almond extract
    1/8 tsp salt
    2 1/2 C flour

    Recipe



    Cream sugar and butter well, then combine all ingredients. Roll out and cut with a pastry cutter into pieces about 5x2 inches. Bake on krinkler tins until a delicate brown. When cool, frost with boiled or powdered sugar icing and decorate with colored sugar. Handle carefully as they break easily.
