    Serves 4.

    List of Ingredients




    1 T melted butter
    2 T milk or cream
    1/2 tsp salt
    2 C mashed potatoes
    1 1/2 -1 3/4 C flour

    Recipe



    Stir butter, milk and salt into potatoes. Mix in enough flour, roughly 1 cup, to make soft dough. Heavily flour a board and form dough into a twelve inch long, smooth roll. Slice into 12 equal pieces. Shape each into a smooth ball, working in flour to prevent sticking.
    Roll out balls on floured surface, one sixteenth inch thin. Cut each circle into quarters and pierce center of each with a fork. Deep fry in 375 degree F. fat until golden brown, turning once. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve warm with a favorite sauce or grated cheese.
