    2 cups rice - cooked and strained
    Chill and mix with 1 cup whipped cream, 1/2 cup sugar and vanilla. Prepare any red, sweetened fruit juice (Tyttebaerare used in Norway) - 1-1/2 or 2 cups full. Thicken slightly with cornstarch or potato flour. In Norway this is poured around edges of a platter heaped with the rice. It may be served with the individual glass dishes and the red sauce around the edge of rice.
