Cookies.
Cream one and a half ounces of butter with the same quantity of sugar. Stir in gradually one tablespoon of top milk and one egg yolk, and lastly three and a half ounces of flour sieved with a quarter of a teaspoon of baking powder.
Make a cone of stiff paper and press the mixture through this on to a floured baking sheet in little circular or s shaped biscuits. Bake in a moderate oven until golden brown.
