    1 cup brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 cup sour milk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3 cups sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 cup raisins.


    Recipe



    Beat egg and brown sugar well. Mix together sour milk, soda, and salt and add to first mixture Combine flour and baking powder and sift together. Add to above mixture. Then add 1 cup raisins.
    Bake 50 minutes to one hour.
