Makes 5 dozen.
List of Ingredients
1 C butter
1 C sugar
2 1/2 C flour
2 egg yolks or 1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
Recipe
Cream butter until soft. Beat in sugar, then add yolks and beat until creamy. Gradually stir in flour and work dough until well mixed. Take a small piece of dough and press into fluted sand bakkels pans, spreading dough as thin as possible. Bake in moderate oven about 15 minutes. Cool and remove from pans, be careful not to break the tarts.
