    1 small head red cabbage
    1 small head green cabbage
    1 T butter
    2 T flour
    1 tsp salt
    1 1/2 tsp caraway seed
    2 C meat broth (or water)
    1/4 C vinegar
    1/4 C sugar

    Recipe



    Slice cabbage fine and alternate layers of red and green cabbage in kettle Between layers sprinkle seasonings, flour and butter. Cook over low heat until cabbage is tender. Add more liquid if necessary. Just before removing from heat, add vinegar and sugar. and stir well. Serve hot or cold.
