Holiday Spiced Nuts

List of Ingredients




1 egg white
1 tsp water
1 12 oz can salted mixed nuts
1 C granulted sugar
2 Tblspns apple or pumpkin pie spice (see note)

Recipe



Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Butter a 15x10x1 inch jelly roll pan; set aside.
In a medium bowl lightly beat egg white with water. Stir in nuts until coated. In another bowl combine sugar and spice mix. Stir until well coated. Place in a single layer on prepared pan. bake until dry, 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionaly. Cool in pan. Store at room temperatur in a tightly sealed container.
Note: you can use 1 Tblspn cinnamon, 1 1/2 tsp ground ginger, 3/4 tsp nutmeg and 3/4 tsp ground cloves for boughten spice mix.
