    1 C peanut oil, Do not sustitute other oil, because of high smoking point
    4 thin slices fresh ginger
    4 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
    1 dried whole hot red chile

    Recipe



    In saucepan, combine oil, ginger, garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook over low heat 15 minutes. Let cool. In a fine mesh sieve that has been lined with several layers of cheesecloth, strain into jar. If desired, drop in the whole dried chili pepper. keeps in refrigerator up to 6 months.
