List of Ingredients
1 dozen clams or more to make 2 C meat after shucking
1/4 C clam liquor
1 T butter
1/2 C cracker crumbs
1 well beaten egg
1 C milk
salt
pepper
1 recipe pie crust for double crust pie Recipe
Steam the clams and strain the liquor, saving 1/4 cup. Remove clams from shells and chop finely. Combine all but the crust. Place crust in pie shell and cover with upper crust, seal all around and pierce with a fork for stem vents. Bake, 350 degrees F. for 1 hour. Serve very hot with mashed potatoes.
