    Grape Nut Pie

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 C Grape Nuts
    1/2 C boiling water
    2 egg yolks, beaten
    1/2 C sugar
    1 1/2 C milk
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp ginger
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 rounded T flour
    1/4 to 1/2 C sugar

    Recipe

    Mix Grape Nuts and boiling water, let stand 10 minutes. Beat egg yolks and add sugar and milk, mix well. Sift together dry ingredients, except the sugar, and add to the creamed mixture, mix well. Add the Grape Nuts and 1/4 to 1/2 C sugar. Cook in double boiler until thick, stirring so as not to lump. Pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue and bake only until lightly browned.
