Pie, Irish Cheese and Potato

Recipe Introduction


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. -Serves 4


List of Ingredients




1 C milk
1 C Cheddar cheese, cubed
1 tsp Worcestershire
1/2 tsp salt
1 T flour
3 medium potatoes, sliced thin
2 C sliced onion
3 T butter
2 T dry bread crumbs
pepper to taste

Recipe



Combine milk and cheese in heavy saucepan and cook until cheese melts. Add Worcestershire. In a greased 9 inch pie tin, place half of the potatoes, sprinkle with flour, and salt and pepper. Add half of onions. Dot with butter. Repeat layering, using all ingredients. Pour the cheese sauce over. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes.
