List of Ingredients

4 egg whites
1 C sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
12 soda crackers
12 dates
1/2 C finely chopped nuts
1/2 C cream, whipped
1/2 C powdered sugar


Recipe

Beat egg whites stiff. Add 1 C sugar and baking powder. Beat until very stiff. Add vanilla. Roll soda crackers to a crumb and mix with dates and nuts. Fold in meringue. Pour into a buttered 9 inch pie plate. Bake 30-40 minutes at 325 degrees. When cold spred with whipped cream sweetened with powdered sugar. Chill.
