    List of Ingredients




    1 ham bone
    1 lb, large, navy beans
    1 small can tomatoes with chili peppers, (or plain)
    1 large onion, chopped fine
    1 bell pepper, chopped fine
    1 can corned beef, or fresh
    2 Irish potatoes, cubed fine
    Seasoning to taste

    Recipe



    Place all ingredients in a 12 quart pot. Add water to within 2 inches of top of pot. Boil on low fire until beans and potatoes are cooked to pieces. Soup should be thick. Take care not to scorch the bottom, during the last hour of cooking. Cooks about three hours altogether. Season to taste last 15 minutes of cooking.
