    Connecticut Succotash

    List of Ingredients

    2 C dried cranberry beans
    3-4 slices salt pork
    1 fresh cob of yellow corn
    salt
    pepper
    1/2 C scalded cream
    2 T butter

    Recipe

    Cook beans and salt pork until thoroughly done. Cook corn and scrape from cob. Cut 2-3 small pieces of cob in slices. Add to beans. Cook cob with beans and corn, adding cream and butter. Cook 5-6 minutes. Remove cob. Add salt and generously pepper
