Use as many apples as needed. Peel, core and slice apples and put into a buttered baking dish. Cover with sugar and cinnamon (use nutmeg in place of cinnamon if desired). Thicken sour cream with flour and pour mixture over apples, this makes a thin flaky crust. Bake in slow oven. Serve warm or cold with whipped cream.
