    Agg pankaka- Bacon Pancake-(oven)

    Cut a quarter of a pound of bacon or ham into dice and fry. Pour the fried dice and the fat out of the pan into a bowl and clean with a piece of paper.
    Mix 1 egg yolk with 2 cups flour, a pint and a half of milk and a teaspoon of baking powder to make a batter.
    Return the fat to the frying pan and pour in the batter and the fried, diced bacon. Place the pan in a warm oven and bake until the pancake is set and firm right through. Cut in triangles and serve hot.
    [400 degrees F. 40-45 minutes]

    Var; Omit bacon or ham, and serve sausages on the side. Serve with crushed fresh fruit syrup or lingonberries.
