Codfish Balls

1 C cooked codfish
3 C raw, diced potatoes
2 eggs, beaten
2 T butter
salt

Boil potatoes until done. Drain. Mash them with the fish and rest of ingredients. Shape into balls and fry in hot lard until brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve with horseradish sauce.
