    Macaroni Pudding with cheese

    List of Ingredients




    1 C macaroni
    1 1/2 C thin white sauce
    1/4 C grated cheese
    4 slices cheese
    buttered crumbs

    Recipe




    Make the white sauce, well seasoned.
    Break macaroni up into pieces 1 inch long. Drop slowly into 2 quarts of boiling salted water and cook until tender (20-40 minutes). Drain.
    Put the sauce and macaroni in a baking dish in layers. Top with the four slices cheese and sprinkle buttered crumbs on top. Brown well in a hot oven making sure cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
