    1/2 C butter
    1 C flour
    1-2 T milk
    1/2 C water
    1/4 C butter
    1/2 C flour
    2 eggs

    Recipe



    Cut 1/2 cup butter into flour with pastry blender. Moisten with just a little milk. Roll out quite thin and cut into strips about 4 inches wide. Arrange in kringle circles on cookie sheet.
    Bring water to a boil, add 1/4 cup butter and when melted add flour and cook, stirring, until mixture forms a ball and leaves sides of pan. Cool. Beat in eggs one at a time until very smooth. Put dough in a cookie press, using star form at top. Zig-zag dough over pastry. Bake 30 minutes at 450 degrees F., then turn off heat, open oven door slightly and leave in oven another half an hour to set puff dough. Remove from oven and drizzle frosting over. Cut in strips to serve.

    Frosting.
    1 C confectioners sugar
    3 1/2 T boiling water
    1/2 C ground walnuts
    1/2 tsp almond extract
    1/2 tsp rum extract
    Stir sugar into boiling water, add rest of ingredients and mix until smooth.
