    3/4 C salt
    3/8 C sugar
    1 tsp pepper
    4 bay leaves
    1 1/2 quarts water

    Recipe



    soak salmon overnight in this mixture. Let fish dry before smoking. Fill pan with chips and dampen them with any fruit juice. Smoke as desired.
