    Recipe Introduction


    One pound of asparagus is 12-5 extra large spears, 15-20 large, 21-27 medium or 27-35 thin, or 2 1/2 to 3 C trimmed and cut into 1 inch pieces.

    List of Ingredients




    2 bunches thin asparagus, rinsed and trimmed
    1 T olive oil
    1 tsp grated or finely shredded orange zest
    1 clove garlic, minced
    pepper to taste

    Recipe



    Spred asparagus in large baking dish. Drizzle with oil and sprinkle with orange zest and garlic. Toss to coat. Bake asparagus at 400 degrees, moving with tongs once or twice, until tender, about 15 minutes. Season with pepper and serve at once.
