    Butter Brickle Bars

    List of Ingredients

1 -18.25 oz. box yellow cake mix WITHOUT pudding -- (I used Duncan Hines)
    1/3 cup butter -- melted
1 large egg -- lightly beaten
1 -10 oz. bag Skor butter toffee chips -- OR a 7.5 oz. pkg. almond brickle chips
1 -14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup chopped pecans -- or more to taste

    Recipe

Combine 1st 3 ingredients in a large bowl, stirring well.

Press mixture into bottom of a 13x9 pan.

Combine chips, condensed milk, and pecans; spread over crust in pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.

Remove from oven, and let cool completely before cutting into bars.

    Yield:
    "2 dozen"

NOTES : I didn't use quite the whole bag of Heath bar chips, but I think it would be OK if you did.

I used fat free sweetened condensed milk.

I added chocolate chips to part of the pan, but I liked them better without.
