    Recipe Introduction

    Delicious! See my notes below.

    List of Ingredients

    2 sticks butter, softened
    1 cup creamy peanut butter
    1 cup light brown sugar
    1 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
60 Snickers Brand Miniatures (about 1 1/2 13-ounce bags)--can also use Milky Ways

    Recipe

    1. Combine butter, peanut butter and sugars using a mixer on a medium to low speed until light and fluffy. Slowly add eggs and vanilla until thoroughly combined. Then mix in flour, salt and baking soda. Cover and chill for 2-3 hours.

    2. Remove dough from refrigerator. Divide into 1 tablespoon pieces and flatten. Place one unwrapped Snicker Miniature in the center of each piece of dough. Form the dough into a ball around each piece of candy. Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or silicone baking mat and bake at 325 or 350 degrees for about 10-12 minutes. Let cookies cool on baking rack.

    Yield: about 5 dozen cookies

Notes: I couldn't decide if I liked baking them at 325 or 350 better. They're more likely to leak caramel at 350 but they take longer to bake at 325, so you may have to play around with the temp. and the baking times. Just make sure to get your oven completely heated though. I don't think my ovens were quite ready when I started baking them. Also I expected them to brown on top and mine really didn't. They got a little golden on the bottom but not really on top, but I didn't want to over-bake them and dry them out.
