Stay Healthy with Lychee Nuts!

This fruit appears from time to time in your local food bank. It looks like a nut and has a very sweet taste to it. Sometimes you will get a 'flat' or box of these nuts and they may have mold growing on them since they are 'seconds'.
Ensure that before you eat any fresh fruits or vegetables
you TOSS OUT any with mold on them. This is especially true of Lychee's since the mold grows into its 'skin' and flavours the meat inside, just like any other fresh fruit.
MOLD GROWS UP TO 1 INCH IN DEPTH INVISIBLY under the small green 'flowers' it produces. This is EXTREMELY important to know in Lychee's since they are only an inch in diameter.
It is suggested then to toss out all and ANY with any small spots of mold growing on them, do not attempt to cut around it. Lychees are very sweet tasting, anything else is
garbage.
