Things to do with Fruit bottom yogurt

'Fruit Bottom' yoghurt can be removed from its 'fruit bottom' and the plain white dairy product can be further enhanced to make it a baked potato topping like sour cream. You can also mix it with crushed Garlic to have a 'faux' tzaziki sauce for Pita bread sandwiches, or as an alternative to salad dressing. Here are a few examples below

    List of Ingredients

    • Onion powder (needed)
    • Cucumbers (needed)
    • Minced garlic (needed)
    • Ketchup (needed)
    • Relish (needed)
    • Steak spice (needed)

    Instructions

    1. Yoghurt recipe 1: Baked potato topping

Remove yoghurt from its fruit bottom and add onion powder/chives to it. Put on baked potato.
    2. Recipe 2: Tzaziki sauce

Remove yoghurt from its fruit bottom and add minced garlic to it, and a small bit of steak spice. Add 1/3 cup finely chopped cucumbers.

Nice when put in a pita bread sandwich with lettuce, chicken and tomatoes.
    3. Recipe #3 Faux Thousand Island dressing

Separate yoghurt from fruit bottom, mix in 2 tbs ketchup, 1 tbs pickle relish, add some steak spice. Stir well and top salad with it. You may choose to add 'fruit bottom' to salad before tossing.

    Final Comments

DONT TOSS OUT the fruit bottoms, put them in a small jar and stir them around. You could use them for seasoning other meals, or on toast like jam.
