    Mardi Gras Shrimp

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 stick butter
    • 2 med. onions chopped
    • 1 bell pepper chopped
    • 4 stalks celery chopped
    • 4 - 6 cloves garlic minced
    • 3 Tbsp flour
    • 2 lbs shrimp (peeled and deveined with tails left on)
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1 cup chicken broth
    • 3/4 tsp ground red pepper or any other kind of "HEAT"


    Instructions


    1. In lg skillet melt butter over med heat. Add the onions, pepper, celery, garlic and cook for 5 min. Stirring frequently.
    2. Season the shrimp with the red pepper and salt. Add to the skillet.
    3. Add the broth and cook for 8 - 10 min or til shrimp turns pink, stir occassionally


    Final Comments


    You can adjust the seasoning according to taste.
    Great served with Rice.
