    Swedish Meatballs II


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1/2 lb ground pork
    • 1 cup dry bread crumbs (unseasoned)
    • 1/3 cup milk
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 onion chopped fine
    • 1 1/2 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
    • 1/4 tsp pepper
    • 4 Tbsp flour
    • 3/4 Cups Water
    • 1 Cup 1/2 & 1/2
    • 1 Tbsp beef boullion granuals
    • 1/2 tsp salt


    Instructions


    1. Mix beef, pork, bread crumbs milk egg, onion, 1 1/2 tsp salt, nutmeg and pepper.
    2. Shape into meatballs and cook til light brown in a 350 oven (about 1/2 hr)
    3. Remove from oven and keep them warm.
    4. In a saucepan, put 1/4 cup of the juices from the meatballs. Stir in the flour and cook til smooth.
    5. Remove from heat and stir in the water, 1/2 & 1/2, beef boullion and 1/2 tsp salt. Return to stove and cook til boiling stirring constantly til thickened.


    Final Comments


    Serve over egg noodles.
