    Chicken Wing Ring

    Finally, here it is. Many thanks to Mary Lou(Manager of the Art & Home Center of the NY State Fair), who sent this to me. Haven't made it yet, but soon, very soon! (This recipe was posted by Bean at the TSR Recipe Board! Thanks Bean)

    Chicken Wing Ring:
    4- 4/12 cups flour
    2 pkgs rapidrise yeast
    3 T. sugar
    1 1/2 t. salt
    4 T.Finely chopped onion
    3/4 cup milk
    1/2 cup water
    1/4 cup butter
    1 egg
    1/3 cup mayonnaise
    1/3 cup blue cheese
    2 cups cooked chicken
    1/3 cup chicken wing sauce
    1/2 cup pepper jack cheese
    1/2 cup cheddar cheese
    1.)Mix mayo & blue cheese, refrigerate
    2.)Combine 1 1/2 cups flour,sugar,salt,yeast
    3.)Melt butter in a pan and stir in onion and saute for 1-2 minutes,add milk, water, remove from heat, then stir into dry ingredients.
    4.)Beat in egg and beat for 2 minutes, then add enough flour to make a soft dough:Knead 4-6 minutes,until smooth & elastic.
    5.)Cover & let rest on floured board for 10 minutes.
    6.)Roll dough out into 12" X 16" rectangle
    7.)Spread dough with blue cheese mixture, then chicken(cut into chunks), wing sauce & cheeses.
    8.)Roll up as for jelly roll to make a 16" roll.
    9.)Transfer to a greased baking sheet and shape into a ring, sealing edges together.
    10.)Make 8 slashes, cutting about half way down, but not all the way through the dough.
    11.)Cover & let rise until double in bulk, about 30-40 minutes.
    12.)Bake at 375* for 30-35 minutes
    13.) Server with warm celery sticks.
