Ol Fashion Cinnamon Sheet Cake

Old Fashioned Cinnamon Sheet Cake

4 large eggs
2 c sugar
2 c sifted flour
1 c milk -- scalded
1 stick butter/margarine-melted in milk
2 tsp. baking powder
1 pinch salt
1 tsp vanilla
TOPPING:
1/2 stick butter/margarine -- melted
1/2 c sugar mixed with 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Grease and flour a sheet cake pan. Oven 350 (13 x 9 pan)
Beat eggs and sugar until very very thick and light. Add the dry ingredients and blend well. Add the milk/butter mixture and vanilla and mix just until thoroughly blended, scraping bottom of bowl in particular. Batter is quite thin. Pour into pan. Sprinkle evenly the cinnamon sugar mixture over the top of the batter, and then drizzle the melted buttr over the top. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes-cake will be pulling away from the sides of the pan and toothpick inserted will come out clean.
When cool cut into squares.
